Princess Introduces New Sanctuary Collection on Sun Princess and Star Princess

Princess Cruises has launched the “Sanctuary Collection” on the Sun Princess and the upcoming Star Princess ships. The collection provides premium accommodations and elevated amenities and offers a hybrid approach to a ship-within-a-ship concept.

The cruise line has now opened sales for the expanded Sanctuary Collection service. On Sun Princess, the spa-inspired top-deck Sanctuary Club is now exclusively for Sanctuary Collection guests.

Eligible guests 16 or older can access the Sanctuary Club through a private entry using their Princess Medallion.

“Our new Sanctuary Collection offers guests those ultra-private, tucked away spaces that rival any high-end resort. It surpasses comparable cruise lines featuring similar ship-within-a-ship amenities,” said John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises. “Our new Sanctuary Collection delivers the ultimate in access and indulgence.”

The 4,300-guest Sun Princess has the most balconies and sun decks of any Princess ship. The Star Princess is currently under construction in Italy.

Last week, Princess announced it was pushing back delivery of the ship from July 29, 2025, due to additional time needed to complete it. This has led to the cancellation of the first nine sailings. The new inaugural sailing will now depart from Barcelona on October 4, 2025.
