Uber’s ride-hailing services now include different types of watercraft in Europe. The company’s new water-based transportation services are being rolled out across popular destinations like Paris, Greece, Mykonos, and Ibiza.

The next time you’re looking for a convenient way to see famous European landmarks, you may want to open your Uber app. From limousine boats to Uber cruises and Uber yachts, the American multinational makes tourist attractions accessible (and sometimes cheaper) for its 150 million users. Minor differences exist in the mechanics depending on where you are.
Uber Cruise in Paris

In Paris, Uber Cruise lets passengers cruise through the Seine, visiting unmissable attractions like the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Conciergerie, and the Louvre Museum. The one-hour ride is free, includes a complimentary wine beverage, and is available from July 12 to August 3, 2024.
Specific dates coincide with the upcoming Olympics, allowing Uber Cruise to fulfill some of the event’s transportation requirements.
Uber Yacht in Ibiza

Traveling by yacht is expensive, especially in Ibiza. Uber offers slightly more affordable eight-hour yacht rides in August that can host up to eight people. For around $1,700, you get snacks, a bottle of champagne, a skipper, and hotel-to-port transfers.
This service aboard a Sunseeker Yacht requires advanced booking, which can be made beginning July 26, 2024. The Uber Yacht sails from Ibiza Town daily at 12 noon. Guests can create their itineraries and enjoy recreational activities along the way.
Uber Boat in Mykonos

Uber Boat is on its second run this July. It first became available during the summer of last year. Unlike the self-driven boats that have become popular in the Greek islands, Uber features chartered boats that provide access to famed destinations like Santorini, Corfu, and Athens.
You can visit these islands from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The fare differs by location, but prices start at over $200.
Limo Boats in Venice

Though the name denotes luxury, Limo Boats are cheaper than other water vessels plying the area. You can hire a boat for around $130 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and invite up to six people. This service kicked off last July 3 with almost 200 designated pick-up and drop-off points in Venice.
These new offerings create an on-demand tour experience that makes traveling short distances by water easier. Before you book, remember that the services may still be limited, and their availability will depend on the weather.
