The Love Boat heads back to sea as Princess Cruises hosts a cast reunion aboard the Enchanted Princess. During the weeklong voyage, guests can meet the stars of the late 1970s show and enjoy several themed events.
The cruise line will hold its second Love Boat cruise from August 31 to September 7, 2024. Its special New England itinerary sails from New York in a roundtrip voyage that will visit Halifax and Saint John, Canada; Eastport, Maine; and Boston.
Its VIP guests include Bernie Kopell, or “Doc;” Fred Grandy, who took on the role of “Gopher;” Ted Lange, the star behind Isaac Washington; and Jill Whelan, the actress who played Vicki Stubing. Ezra Freeman, the charismatic bartender from the 2022 reality show spin-off The Real Love Boat, will also be onboard.
Whelan explained how the first Love Boat cruise led them to organize another sailing.
“After the tremendous outpouring of love on the first themed cruise, we knew we had to create an exclusive experience for our super fans on the upcoming voyage,” she said. “My castmates and I are highly anticipating the upcoming cruise where we’ll be able to spend more time with these passionate cruisers and fans and we can’t wait to hear how the show impacted their lives,” Whelan added. |
The Love Boat VIP Package is available for $450. It includes these perks:
- Cocktail party with the cast
- Reserved premier seating in the Princess Theater as cast members reminisce about the show
- Priority queueing for The Love Boat cast meet-and-greet
- Dinner party with The Love Boat actors

Enchanted Princess also offers activities for all passengers. These include meet-and-greet photo ops, cocktail demonstrations with Freeman and Lange, the airing of The Love Boat episodes, specialty cocktails, and more.
Demand over the last Love Boat cast sailing encouraged the company to create a follow-up cruise for die-hard fans.
