Here you can park your car free for up to two weeks, and the hotel normally provides you with a continental breakfast and a shuttle to your cruise port (or airport). The advantage of this is you are already near the port and you do not have to worry about a long drive, or the extra transportation costs which will often be more than the charge for staying one night in the hotel.

I suggest bringing a power strip! It’s 2013 yet most cruise ship cabins have precious few power outlets. If you’re like me and have lots of items that need power (cell phone, flip cam, camera, iPad,etc) a power strip will be your new best friend! Scott
