MSC Cruises’ upcoming new US flagship will house the largest MSC Yacht Club concept sailing out of North America. The MSC World America, which launches in April 2025, has been designed specifically for the U.S. market.
MSC World America has Seven Districts
The ship will be the first to have seven distinct shipboard districts, each offering a different atmosphere. One is the MSC Yacht Club, a ‘ship-within-a-ship’ retreat that delivers premium, personalized services and exclusive social spaces.
MSC Yacht Club features an expansive sundeck across two levels. The upper level is ideal for pool lounging or relaxing in a hot tub or private cabana. The lower deck will have a bar and grill for breakfast, lunch, and sundowners.
MSC Yacht Club guests enjoy perks like priority embarkation, a dedicated concierge team, round-the-clock butler service, and dedicated private areas. In addition, they have priority access to all the ship’s entertainment venues, a premium beverage package, high-speed internet, and thermal spa access.
Cristian Comirla, Brand Performance Director, MSC Yacht Club, said, “MSC Yacht Club offers a tranquil vacation and a more relaxing and secluded cruise experience, yet still with access to the ship’s entertainment, specialty dining, and other amenities.” |
MSC World America’s MSC Yacht Club will house two-level Double-balcony Duplex Suites, ideal for families or larger groups. There are dining and living areas and abundant outdoor space with two sundecks and a private hot tub. The ship also features luxury multi-room Owner Suites with a hot tub and al fresco dining area.
MSC Yacht Club guests can access the Ocean House at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, which has a private beach and restaurant. Ocean Cay is being upgraded by expanding the Ocean House bar and restaurant. This work is expected to be completed before MSC World America’s April 2025 launch.
MSC Comes to Texas Next Year
MSC World America will sail from Miami on Eastern and Western Caribbean cruise itineraries, with all sailings calling at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. The cruise line announced a second ship will be homeport at Port Canaveral in 2025.
MSC Grandiosa arrives in December 2025 to sail alternating week-long Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises. From New York, MSC Meraviglia will continue week-long cruises to Bermuda. Also, next year, the cruise line will make its Texas debut in Galveston in November 2025.
